Hello, my name is Ron Gladkowski, I have been making my living as a craftsmen for about 30 years now, and been working on the internet since 1996. At first I saw a great creative potential, and wanted to explore it. It was as if I had discovered a wonderful coloring book, and the whole world could see MY coloring book. In the beginning, it was all Greek to me, but I was so captivated by the media, that I plodded on, often staying up half the night trying to understand yet another new concept, or procedure.

          I soon realized that this "Web" would be a perfect venue to present a portfolio of my work, and I created my first web pages. I thought "Perhaps I could even market my work this way?". I've come a long way since then, am still thoroughly enjoying myself creating web pages and learning new things every day, but am also finding more ways to use the internet to enhance my career.

          I'm not here to teach you all about the internet, I don't know ALL about the internet, and never will. I have learned a lot though, and am here to share my experiences, knowledge, and opinions in an effort to help you understand a bit more, so you can better decide if the internet can be of benefit to you.

          This is not a tutorial that will teach you how to design the perfect web sight. It is possible to do it yourself, particularly with the new and easy web page creating programs around, but should you? You could probably build your own house, if you have some time and basic knowledge, but what will the finished product look like, and how well will it work? Would you be pleased with it? Your time might be better spent focusing on what you do best, runnig your business. Put a little research into finding a suitable web designer, and let him or her do their job, while you go and do yours.

          Because each organization, business, and personality is different, creating a successful website requires a partnership between yourself, and the designer in order to communicate your persona to the viewer. Selecting the proper web designer, one you can work with, who shares your vision, and who will present you as you want to be presented, is very important. Look over their work, and select someone who will help you plan for the future. because the future IS COMING!"
