          The Guilford Angel Gabriel is now appearing at the Chenango County Council of the Arts Gallery and will be there until Aug 9th. A special Gallery Reception will take place Friday, July 12th from 5 to 7 PM with Thomas Gray, Guilford Town Historian. The presentation focuses on the history of the angel and the history of the Angel Inn. Included are highlights of the making of the replica carved by the Chenango Wood Carvers. Tom has written a book titled "The History of the Angel Inn and the Archangel Gabriel in Guilford, NY" which will be available the day of the presentation. Everyone is invited to attend the history tour from the early 1800's to present. A book signing will follow the presentation. The Angel Tour Project is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Chenango County Council of the Arts.
